The Beatles release 60th anniversary ‘Rubber Soul’ super deluxe edition

To mark the 60th anniversary of the landmark album ‘Rubber Soul’, a comprehensive new reissue has been released. The collection includes a ‘Special Edition Super Deluxe’ box set featuring five 180g vinyl LPs and an additional 7-inch single, totaling 68 songs.

A central feature of the reissue is a new stereo mix produced by Giles Martin and Sam Okell. The mix was created using advanced demixing technology developed by Emile de la Rey at Peter Jackson’s WingNut Films. This AI-driven software allowed engineers to separate the original 1965 four-track master tapes, resulting in increased clarity for vocals, guitars, and percussion while maintaining the original warmth of the recordings.

The vinyl edition utilizes half-speed mastering to preserve high and low-frequency details. The set includes the complete original British album alongside various recordings that document the evolution of the tracks.
