The Beatles unveil expanded 'Rubber Soul' edition with new mixes and unreleased tracks

On 2 October, a special expanded edition of The Beatles' 1965 album "Rubber Soul" will be released. The set includes new stereo mixes, the original mono mix, the US Capitol version and Dolby Atmos mixes, all prepared by Giles Martin and Sam Okell from the original four‑track tapes using modern demixing technology led by Emile de la Rey.

The Super Deluxe version adds 24 session recordings, including 20 tracks never released before, such as home demos, early versions of "Day Tripper" and "We Can Work It Out", and a newly discovered John Lennon sketch titled "Little Girl". The release is available for pre‑order and is promoted as a major archival project for the iconic album.
