The Celebrity Traitors cast features Michael Sheen and James Acaster

The second season of the BBC reality series ‘The Celebrity Traitors’ is set to feature 21 contestants competing for a charity prize of up to £100,000 in the Scottish Highlands. Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the cast includes notable figures such as Michael Sheen, Maya Jama, Richard E. Grant, Jerry Hall, and several comedians including James Acaster, Joe Lylett, and Romesh Ranganathan.

During filming at Ardross Castle, production was temporarily halted after comedian James Acaster became ‘visibly stressed’ and experienced an anxiety-driven panic. Fellow contestants reportedly intervened to request that cameras stop rolling so Acaster could calm down. A spokesperson for the show stated that the safety and welfare of participants is the highest priority and noted that the pause did not affect the outcome of the game.

The upcoming series follows the success of the first celebrity edition, which saw Alan Carr emerge as the winner.
