The Flower Kings announce new progressive rock album ‘Hope’

Swedish progressive rock band The Flower Kings have announced their new album, ‘Hope’, scheduled for release on October 23, 2026, via InsideOut Music. Following their 2025 release ‘Love’, this new project marks a return to long-form epic compositions, featuring tracks ranging from 18 to 28 minutes in length.

The album consists of four tracks, including the centerpiece ‘The Gods of Rome’, a nearly 30-minute piece originally conceived from orchestral ideas developed over a decade ago. The songwriting is credited to Roine Stolt and keyboardist Lalle Larsson. To promote the release, the band has published a music video for the first single, ‘In A World Of Fools’.

Founder Roine Stolt described the creative process as a move toward making music that the band members personally love, regardless of commercial viability. He noted that the album serves as a meditation on the modern world, reflecting on themes of division and empathy while ultimately offering a message of hope.
