The Greatest Showman musical to transfer to London's West End in 2027

The stage musical adaptation of the 2017 film ‘The Greatest Showman’ will transfer to London’s West End in Spring 2027. Disney Theatrical Group announced that the production will take up residence at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane following a successful, sold-out run at the Bristol Hippodrome.

The production features a score by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, including original film hits such as ‘This Is Me’ and ‘Never Enough,’ alongside new songs written specifically for the stage. The musical is directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with a book by Tim Federle.

Much of the principal cast from the Bristol production will reprise their roles, including Oliver Tompsett as P. T. Barnum, Samantha Barks as Charity Barnum, Ben Joyce as Phillip Carlyle, Vajèn van den Bosch as Jenny Lind, and Malinda Parris as Lettie Lutz. This marks the first time Disney Theatrical Group has adapted a 20th Century Studios title for the stage.
