Overview
Disney Theatrical Group is expanding its presence in the United Kingdom through new musical stage productions.
In mid-2026, a non-replica staging of ‘High School Musical’ was scheduled to debut at the Lowry in Salford before transferring to London’s Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre for a run through January 2027. This production, marking the 20th anniversary of the film series, features a cast including Tobias Turley and Leonor Correia.
Following this, Disney announced that the stage musical adaptation of ‘The Greatest Showman’ will transfer to London’s West End in Spring 2027. The production is set to take up residence at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane after a run at the Bristol Hippodrome. This production marks the first time the group has adapted a 20th Century Studios title for the stage.
