Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz return for The Mummy 4 filming

First set images from the production of ‘The Mummy 4’ have been released, confirming the return of lead actors Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. Filming is currently underway in Suffolk, England, at a former military base.

Brendan Fraser, reprising his role as adventurer Rick O’Connell, was photographed in a black leather jacket and helmet during a sequence involving a silver and red rocket-powered vehicle. The scene appears to be a 1957-set speed trial. Rachel Weisz was also spotted filming in London near the British Museum, dressed as Evelyn O’Connell in period-appropriate attire.

The production features several returning cast members, including John Hannah as Jonathan Carnahan, Oded Fehr as Ardeth Bay, and Kevin J. O’Connor as Beni Gabor. The film, directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, is scheduled for release by Universal Pictures on October 15, 2027, following a release date that was moved forward from 2028.
