The Mwananchi Party receives official certification of name change

The Registrar of Political Parties has officially certified the name change of the Muungano Party (MP) to The Mwananchi Party (TMP). The change was approved via a special resolution by the party and subsequently sanctioned by the Registrar, with the new name now entered into the official Register.

Caleb Amisi, leader of the People's Renaissance Movement (PM), congratulated the party on the development, describing it as a significant step for Kenya’s multiparty democracy. Amisi expressed a willingness to collaborate with The Mwananchi Party on matters of mutual interest and political renewal.
