The Navigator Company launches 84 million euro forestry investment program

The Navigator Company has launched the Innovative Supplier Network (RFI), a program designed to mobilize up to 84 million euros for 124 partners within the Navigator Forest Producers Club. Developed in partnership with AGROGES under the Portugal 2030 and COMPETE 2030 frameworks, the initiative aims to strengthen the competitiveness and investment capacity of the forestry sector.

The program targets wood suppliers, forestry service providers, and transport companies. It provides incentives for investments in machinery, technology, digitalization, and new processes, with support levels reaching up to 50% of eligible investments. Specifically, the Productive Innovation Incentive System offers a base support rate of 40% for micro and small enterprises and 30% for medium-sized companies. These rates may increase by 10 percentage points based on the strength of the applicant's relationship with Navigator and an additional 10 percentage points for certain sub-regions.

To qualify, projects must introduce new or significantly improved products, services, or processes rather than simply replacing existing equipment. The goal is to modernize the forestry business fabric, increase operational efficiency, and reduce dependence on imports.
