The Only Living Pickpocket in New York featured at NYFF

The film ‘The Only Living Pickpocket in New York’, written and directed by Noah Segan, was featured at the New York Film Festival. The movie stars John Turturro as Harry Lehman, an aging, ‘analog’ pickpocket struggling to navigate a modern city where cash is rare and digital tracking is prevalent.

Filmed on-site across all five boroughs, the production aimed for authenticity by capturing the diverse layers of New York City. Director Noah Segan stated that the goal was to allow the city to act as a character, showcasing various perspectives of New York through its food trucks, subway rides, and diverse inhabitants.
