The Pokémon Company rolls out August 2026 events and Pokopia DLC for Scarlet & Violet

The Pokémon Company announced a series of timed in-game events for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet running from 6 August to 3 September 2026. Four special “immortal” Pokémon – Glimmora, Annihilape, Farigiraf and Kingambit – will appear in massive spawns with boosted Shiny odds and unique emblem rewards across seven‑star raids.

Separately, the company revealed that Part 1 of the paid Pokémon Pokopia expansion will launch on 5 August 2026 for the Nintendo Switch. The DLC introduces an underwater city called Fonds‑Bulleux, new Pokémon, outfits, an enhanced Surf ability, and a free software update (v2.0.0) that teaches the Dive move from Manaphy.
