The Relic: First Guardian to launch on Xbox and Switch 2

Publisher Perp Games and developer Project Cloud Games have announced new release dates and pricing for the dark fantasy action RPG, The Relic: First Guardian. The title is scheduled to launch on Xbox Series X|S on September 25, supporting Xbox Play Anywhere, followed by a release on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 9.

All new platform versions will be priced at $34.99. To align with these releases, the existing PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam) versions will also see a price reduction to $34.99 starting August 26. Players who purchased the game at its original full price on PC or PlayStation 5 before the price drop will receive an exclusive in-game item called a Sealing Stone. This item grants access to a unique dungeon featuring a dedicated storyline, a boss fight, and special loot. The Sealing Stone will not be distributed after August 26.

The developer is also working on a major update and ongoing post-launch refinements. Previous updates have already implemented changes such as replacing gold drops with Relic power for skill progression and adding new map icons to assist in locating the game’s 80 bosses.
