The Rolling Stones return to the studio for new music

The Rolling Stones have returned to the studio to work on new material only three months after the release of their 25th album, ‘Foreign Tongues’. Saxophonist Courtney Pine confirmed the sessions, stating he recorded with Mick Jagger a few weeks ago for the band.

Mick Jagger has indicated that he is actively writing songs, noting that while some material may be intended for the Stones, he remains open to the possibility of writing for other artists. While Jagger and bassist Ronnie Wood have expressed interest in returning to the stage, guitarist Keith Richards has shown less enthusiasm for upcoming touring.

Pine, who previously collaborated with Jagger on the 1993 solo album ‘Wandering Spirit’, praised Jagger’s artistry during an appearance on BBC Radio 3’s ‘Private Passions’.
