The Rolling Stones studio activity and touring status
Overview
The Rolling Stones are expanding their 25th studio album, ‘Foreign Tongues’, with a deluxe edition titled ‘Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips’, scheduled for release on November 27, 2026. Produced by Andrew Watt and released via Polydor/Universal Music and Capitol Records, the collection will be available in several formats, including a standalone red vinyl edition, various digital formats, and a deluxe 2CD set.
The 2CD version will feature the original 14-track album on the first disc and five new recordings on the second. These additional tracks include ‘Where There’s A Will’, which features Steve Winwood on organ; ‘Who You Callin’ Crazy’, featuring saxophonist Courtney Pine; ‘Human Tide’, ‘Bad Luck Hideaway’, and ‘She Still Comes Around’. Notably, ‘Bad Luck Hideaway’ features a duet between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and incorporates recordings with the late drummer Charlie Watts.
The single ‘Who You Callin’ Crazy’ has been released as a surprise preview, blending the band’s rock sound with jazz and rhythm and blues elements. The original July release of ‘Foreign Tongues’ reached the top of the charts in 14 countries. Regarding live performances, while Jagger and Wood have expressed interest in returning to the stage, Keith Richards has shown less enthusiasm for touring, following the cancellation of planned 2026 stadium dates in the UK and Europe.
