The Sims 4 receives major June 30 update cutting phone and festival notifications

Electronic Arts' Maxis team released a major quality‑of‑life update for The Sims 4 on June 30, 2026 (version 2.35) across PC, Mac and console platforms. The patch introduces a “Silence Phone” button and new festival‑notification controls, allowing players to mute unwanted calls and choose which festivals generate alerts.
