Peacock renews ‘The Traitors’ and announces 2027 celebrity cast
Peacock has announced several developments for its Emmy-winning reality competition series, ‘The Traitors’. The network has renewed the show for three additional seasons, which will extend the series through season eight.
For the upcoming season slated for 2027, Peacock revealed a celebrity cast of 23 participants. The lineup includes actors Kristin Chenoweth and Dominic Monaghan, singer Cody Simpson, and various reality television personalities such as Bianca Del Rio, Taylor Hale, and Joey Graziadei. Host Alan Cumming will return to preside over the competition, which is filmed in a castle in the Scottish Highlands.
Separately, the ‘New Blood’ iteration of the series has debuted, featuring a cast of 22 civilian contestants competing for a $250,000 prize. This version follows the established format where ‘Traitors’ attempt to secretly eliminate ‘Faithful’ players, while the group works to unmask the imposters through roundtable votes.
