The Voice Kids Malta returns to select Junior Eurovision 2026 representative

The Voice Kids Malta is set to return for its third season on September 7, with new episodes airing on weekdays. The competition serves as the selection process for Malta's representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026.

Participants aged nine to 14 will compete through Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, and a Grand Final. Finalists will attend a songwriting camp to work with professionals on original tracks, which will then be performed during the final. The winner of the competition will represent the country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which Malta is scheduled to host in 2026. This will make Malta the first country to host the event three times.

Malta has a history of success in the contest, having won twice in 2013 and 2015. The nation is one of three countries, alongside Poland and Portugal, utilizing The Voice Kids format to select its Junior Eurovision entries.
