The Voice Kids returns for season 12 on TF1

The twelfth season of the junior singing competition The Voice Kids premieres on TF1 this Saturday, August 22, 2026. Hosted by Nikos Aliagas, the new season features 60 young contestants aged 6 to 15.

The coaching panel remains unchanged since 2019, consisting of Patrick Fiori, Soprano, Matt Pokora, and Santa. The production has introduced new gameplay elements to increase intensity, including challenges such as the “Shaker,” “Vox troll,” and “Top chrono,” alongside new mechanics like the “Block” and “Call a friend.” Styleto joins the production team to assist the contestants.

A notable participant in this season is 14-year-old Lila Debbouze, daughter of actor Jamel Debbouze and journalist Mélissa Theuriau. Lila, who has training in theater, singing, and dance, will appear during the blind auditions.

During press conferences, coaches discussed the emotional weight of the competition. Soprano noted how personal connections and parental instincts can influence coaching decisions, recalling past instances where contestants reminded him of his own daughter.
