The Voice Senior returns to Rai1 with new coach Fiorella Mannoia

The seventh edition of the musical talent show ‘The Voice Senior’ is scheduled to premiere on Rai1 on Friday, October 9. Hosted by Antonella Clerici, the program is dedicated to singers over the age of 60.

A significant change to the coaching panel includes the addition of Fiorella Mannoia, who replaces Loredana Bertè. Mannoia joins returning coaches Clementino, Rocco Hunt, Arisa, and Nek. The show focuses on the personal stories and musical passions of its contestants rather than professional career stakes.

The competition format consists of six episodes. The first four episodes feature Blind Auditions where coaches must choose contestants based solely on their voices. This is followed by the Knock Out round to select 12 finalists, concluding with a live finale where the winner is determined by public televoting. The production is a collaboration between Rai’s Prime Time Entertainment Division and Fremantle Italia.
