The Weeknd announces Japan-exclusive album collection and Tokyo pop-up store

The Weeknd has announced the ‘AFTER HOURS TIL DAWN COLLECTION’, a special Japan-exclusive release scheduled for September 11, 2026. The collection features four of his works: ‘AFTER HOURS’, ‘DAWN FM’, ‘THE IDOL’, and ‘HURRY UP TOMORROW’, curated with unique tracklists and bonus tracks.

To celebrate the release and his first performance in Japan in seven years, the collection will feature artwork by renowned Japanese artist Yoshitaka Amano. Additionally, a new version of the song ‘OUT OF TIME’, featuring Japanese artist Tomoko Aran, will be included. This collaboration stems from The Weeknd’s use of Aran’s 1983 track ‘MIDNIGHT PRETENDERS’ as a sample.

In conjunction with the album release, a large-scale pop-up store will be held at Universal Music Store Harajuku from September 11 to September 21, 2026. The store will offer exclusive tour merchandise, limited collaboration items, and apparel. Japan-only tour editions of his previous albums will also be available on LP.
