The Weeknd launches Japan-exclusive music and fashion collaborations

To commemorate The Weeknd’s “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” and his return to Japan, several exclusive projects are launching in Japan on September 11.

Fashion brand WILDSIDE YOHJI YAMAMOTO is releasing a first-time collaboration collection featuring five items, including leather jackets, shirts, and hoodies. The designs utilize previously unreleased illustrations by Saeko Tsuemura, who collaborated with Yohji Yamamoto between 1991 and 2002, paired with the tour title.

In music, Universal Music Japan is releasing the “After Hours Til Dawn Collection,” a Japan-exclusive compilation. The collection draws from the albums “After Hours,” “Dawn FM,” “The Idol,” and “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” featuring unique track orders and artwork by Yoshitaka Amano. The release includes bonus tracks such as a cover of David Lynch’s “In Heaven (Lady in the Radiator Song).”

A pop-up store will be held at Universal Music Store Harajuku from September 11 to September 21, featuring exhibitions and tour merchandise. Additionally, a special themed train wrapped in tour visuals will operate toward Belluna Dome until September 26.
