Various regions launch diverse October cultural programs

Various regions across Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, and Cuba are launching diverse cultural programs for October.

In Spain, the Auditorio El Batel in Cartagena features Paz Padilla and a Mecano tribute, while Fuengirola offers exhibitions and a toy fair. Albacete has announced a new symphonic season, and Puertollano will host a Cádiz carnival performance. Other local festivities include the San Miguel fair in Aguilar de la Frontera, the October Fair in Cartaya, and religious celebrations in Benferri.

In Argentina, the FIT Córdoba 2026 International Theater Festival for Children and Youth will feature 50 functions across various provinces. Additionally, the play ‘Tirria’ starring Diego Capusotto is scheduled for Olavarría, and ‘Delfina’ will premiere in Buenos Aires.

In Uruguay, the Pequeño Teatro de Durazno has scheduled musical and theatrical performances, including the premiere of ‘Adiós, mundo cruel’. In Cuba, the Carucha Camejo teaching unit is beginning its new course with puppet theater workshops in Matanzas.
