Thessalian Theater launches Lorca's 'Blood Wedding' across Greece
The Thessalian Theater in Greece is staging Federico García Lorca's classic play "Blood Wedding" this summer. The production commemorates the theater's 50th anniversary and coincides with the 90th anniversary of Lorca's death. Music is composed by Dionysis Tsakn, and the direction is handled by Kostas Tsianos, a long‑time figure at the theatre. The cast includes Zoe Kazakou, Asteris Krikonis, Dina Avagianou, Angelos Andriopoulos and Angeliki Lemonik.
After a dynamic premiere in Larissa, the show will tour to other venues throughout Greece, highlighting the theatre's commitment to a lasting regional professional presence.
