Thessaloniki announces upcoming 2026 cultural events

Thessaloniki will host several cultural events in 2026. As part of the 61st Dimitria Festival, the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra is scheduled to perform at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Conducted by Myron Michailidis, the program features mezzo-soprano Billy Kyriakopoulou and pianist Anna Avramidou. The repertoire includes works by Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Manuel de Falla.

Additionally, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the 3rd Municipal Community are organizing a musical evening titled ‘Like Old Cinema 2’ at Agrafon Park on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. This event focuses on songs from iconic Greek films and will feature performers Elektra Karali, Dimitris Nikolaoudis, and Panagiotis Karadimitris, accompanied by a group of local musicians.
