Thessaloniki bus collision injures four at Neapoli bus stop

A serious traffic accident involving two buses occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the Neapoli district of Thessaloniki, Greece. The collision took place at the Kan Kan bus stop on Andrea Papandreou Street.

According to reports from KTEL Thessaloniki and OASTH, a KTEL bus (line 57) was stationary at the stop when an OASTH electric bus (line 28) struck the stop's roof and the stationary vehicle. The impact caused significant damage to the bus stop and both vehicles.

Four women were injured in the incident and transported to Papageorgiou Hospital. A 21-year-old woman is in serious condition following a 3.5-hour surgery for a severe leg dislocation and injuries to her head and pelvis. Other victims, aged 17, 50, and 62, were treated for lighter injuries, with some already being discharged.
