Thessaloniki Flyover project reaches 62% completion
The Greek Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has released a photorealistic video showcasing the future appearance of the Flyover, a new elevated rapid traffic highway in Thessaloniki. The project is designed to alleviate traffic congestion and is expected to double the traffic capacity of the Thessaloniki Ring Road.
According to Ministry updates, construction is currently 62% complete and is proceeding according to schedule. The project is slated for completion and opening to traffic in the spring of 2027. The new infrastructure aims to provide a fast, free, and safe bypass route for citizens.
