Thessaloniki hosts 90th International Fair with Japan as guest of honor

Thessaloniki is preparing for a major weekend of events on September 12, featuring the 90th anniversary of the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) and a large-scale musical performance.

This year, the TIF celebrates its 100-year history with Japan as the guest of honor. Visitors can explore Japanese culture, including traditions, cuisine, pop culture, and advanced technology. The fair includes family-oriented activities such as Juniorland, interactive workshops, and virtual reality experiences, alongside various gastronomic offerings.

Following the fair, singer Antonis Reimos will perform a free concert at the New Waterfront to celebrate his 30-year career. The event is located within walking distance of the exhibition center.
