Thessaloniki International Fair exceeds 200,000 visitor target

The 90th Thessaloniki International Fair (ΔΕΘ-HELEXPO) exceeded its attendance goal of 200,000 visitors, recording a total of 202,854 unique visitors during its run from September 5 to September 13.

The organizer attributed this success to a significant digital transformation. Approximately 60% of tickets were purchased online, with one in five visitors securing tickets before the event officially opened. The official mobile app also saw a threefold increase in users, which helped improve visitor experience and reduce queues.

The event saw a demographic expansion, particularly among families. Child ticket sales increased by 71.5% compared to the previous year, driven by the Juniorland program and family-oriented activities. Additionally, the introduction of new ticket categories for students, unemployed individuals, and multi-day visitors contributed to the increased turnout.
