Thessaloniki International Fair hosts 100-year history exhibition
The ‘TDM 100 Years Future’ exhibition has opened at the MOMUS Museum of Contemporary Art within the Thessaloniki International Exhibition and Conference Centre. A joint initiative between TDM-HELEXPO and MOMUS, the exhibition commemorates the 90th organization of the Thessaloniki International Fair.
The exhibition traces the century-long history of the fair, beginning with the biography of its founder, Nikolaos Germanos. It utilizes timelines and light cycles to illustrate the evolution of the fair from 1926 through to the present day.
Looking toward the future, the exhibition highlights the redevelopment vision for the ‘New TDM.’ This plan includes the construction of a modern exhibition and conference center alongside a 120-acre green space designed as a Metropolitan Park. The exhibition is scheduled to remain open to the public until November 1st.
