Thessaly police solve nine thefts and fraud cases
The Tempi Police Station has solved nine cases of theft and fraud committed across the municipalities of Tempi, Tyrnavos, Farsala, and Mouzaki in the Thessaly region.
Between August 19 and August 29, 2026, an organized group used a rented vehicle to carry out seven thefts and two frauds. The perpetrators targeted homes by entering through unsecured points or breaking doors and windows, stealing cash and jewelry. In the fraud cases, the suspects posed as accountants claiming to collect fines to illicitly obtain money and valuables.
The total illegal profit from these crimes is estimated to exceed 70,000 euros, including more than 15,000 euros in cash. Four Greek men, aged 19, 27, 30, and 31, have been charged, along with unidentified individuals.
