Thiago Vera begins rehabilitation after Mar del Plata accident

Thiago Vera, a 19-year-old man, has been moved to an intermediate care unit after spending 50 days in intensive care. He has begun motor and muscular rehabilitation following a serious accident at a skatepark in Mar del Plata, Argentina.

The accident occurred on June 22, when a bus lost control and struck several people, resulting in the death of 18-year-old Guadalupe Merlos and injuring others. While Vera is showing progress, he still requires further surgeries, including procedures for an exposed fracture in his leg and an injury to his head.
