Lottery officials have identified Thistle Kiosk, a NSW Lotteries outlet in Westfield Woden, Australian Capital Territory, as the shop that sold the division‑one winning Powerball ticket worth $40 million in Thursday’s draw. Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said the organization is ready to welcome the new multi‑millionaire and urged anyone who purchased a ticket to check the numbers and contact Lott at 131 868 to begin the claim process.

The winning numbers for draw #1571 were 7 29 25 18 26 23 with Powerball 16. The draw also awarded division‑two prizes totaling $32,769.70 to 22 players and division‑three prizes of at least $10,870 each to 92 ticket holders.
