Three Dead in Banjaluka‑Prijedor Highway Crash

Emergency services reported a severe traffic collision on the Banjaluka‑Prijedor highway near the village of Prijakovci on 20 June. The crash left three occupants—two women and a man—without signs of life at the scene. A child aged eight was also injured and was taken to the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska for treatment. Police, fire‑rescue units and medical teams attended the incident, confirming the fatalities.

The local health authority said the identities of the deceased have not yet been released. The incident underscores ongoing road safety concerns on major Bosnian highways.
