Three women and girls found dead in Ipoh home, cause under investigation

A 46‑year‑old mother and her two daughters, aged 12 and 11, were discovered dead in a bedroom of a house in Bandar Baru Tambun, Ipoh, Malaysia on the night of 30 July. Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Najib Hamzah of the Ipoh District Police said the police were alerted at about 9:10 pm and that a container believed to hold burnt‑charcoal remains was found in the room.

Preliminary forensic examinations found no visible injuries or signs of foul play, classifying the deaths as sudden. Post‑mortem examinations were scheduled for the following day to determine the cause. Authorities have asked the public to refrain from speculation while the investigation continues.
