Ticketmaster secures R$ 140 million deal with São Paulo FC

Ticketmaster has entered into a R$ 140 million partnership with São Paulo FC to manage ticket sales and fan relationships. The funds are being utilized by the club to alleviate cash flow pressures and organize football-related payments.

Prior to this agreement, Ticketmaster had engaged in negotiations with Corinthians. That proposal involved a five-year contract offering R$ 250 million in receivables anticipation over the first two years, plus R$ 40 million in direct sponsorship and stadium lighting improvements. However, those negotiations were halted following the leak of proposal details.

In the entertainment sector, the SIM São Paulo (International Music Week of São Paulo) has undergone a change in ownership. Luiz Calainho of L21 and Coy Freitas of Otorongo Produções acquired the conference from founder Fabiana Batistela. The 12th edition of the event is scheduled for late November and early December 2026, aiming to host 5,000 attendees and delegations from over 20 countries.
