Región Centro governors to meet with Santilli over routes and energy

In Argentina, several regional and national developments are unfolding. The governors of the Región Centro—Maximiliano Pullaro (Santa Fe), Martín Llaryora (Córdoba), and Rogelio Frigerio (Entre Ríos)—are scheduled to meet with Chief of Staff Diego Santilli to discuss critical issues including national route maintenance, energy subsidies, and the 2027 Budget.

In Río Negro, Governor Alberto Weretilneck has announced a plan for the province to assume management of national routes 22 and 151, as well as the Tren del Valle service, to support regional energy logistics. This follows agreements with the national government to transfer these corridors to provincial control.

Educational and social issues continue to impact various provinces. In Tierra del Fuego, a prolonged teacher strike by SUTEF persists amid disputes over salary increases and funding for education and health. Meanwhile, in Mexico, the Chamber of Deputies has approved a reform to include financial education in basic school curricula to combat fraud and improve resource management among youth.

Other notable updates include the Córdoba government reporting 30% progress on the Route 19 highway project, and the San Juan government launching a professional internship program for UNSJ students with monthly stipends of $565,000.
