Tierra del Fuego launches energy‑efficiency network for local SMEs

Argentina’s Ministry of Energy has opened registration for the “Red de Aprendizaje en Gestión de la Energía,” a free five‑month program running from August to November. The initiative targets small and medium‑size enterprises in the Tierra del Fuego province, offering training workshops, peer‑experience exchanges and specialised technical assistance to assess and improve energy consumption.

The network is part of the “Patagonia Argentina: energy efficiency as a transition strategy for SMEs” project, co‑financed by the European Union and promoted by the Argentine Confederation of Medium‑Size Enterprises (CAME), the Fundación Bariloche, the Ushuaia Chamber of Commerce and the provincial government. Participating firms may appoint two to three representatives to evaluate usage, identify cost‑saving opportunities and adopt management tools that reduce energy waste and boost competitiveness.
