TİGEM Arabian foal auction in Karacabey generates 27.55 million lira
The General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises (TİGEM) generated 27.55 million lira from an auction of purebred Arabian racehorse foals held in the Karacabey district of Bursa.
A total of 34 foals, raised at the Anadolu and Sultansuyu agricultural enterprises, were put up for sale. Out of these, 30 foals found buyers, while 4 remained unsold. The average sale price for the successful bids was approximately 918,000 lira.
The most notable sale was the foal named ‘Bilge Çınar’, which fetched 3.6 million lira, the highest price of the auction. Other high-value sales included ‘Hançeroğlu’ at 1.85 million lira and ‘Duşbara’ at 1.7 million lira.
