Tigre launches Malvinas War veteran workshop for students

The Tigre Deliberative Council has launched the ‘Malvinas nos Une’ workshop series, an initiative designed to connect local students with veterans of the Falkland Islands War to preserve historical memory.

The inaugural session featured retired Captain Bernardo Schweiser, who shared personal accounts of the 1982 military operations and engaged in a direct Q&A session with students. The project, supported by council members Juan José Cervetto and Diego Avancini, aims to ensure the history of the conflict and the memory of those lost are passed down to younger generations through direct testimony and cultural engagement.
