Dominican pitcher Henry Sosa earned his first victory for the club, delivering five innings of work with four strikeouts.

Two days later, the Pericos de Puebla reversed the tide, beating the Tigres 8-4 at the Sherwin‑Williams Beto Ávila stadium after a six‑run eighth inning. The loss evened both clubs at 42‑38, maintaining their playoff contention. Hunter McMahon recorded the win for Puebla, while Ulises Joaquín took the loss for Quintana Roo. The next game of the series is scheduled for the following night.
