TikTok Shop to introduce new logistics fees for heavy packages in Vietnam

TikTok Shop in Vietnam has announced a new “logistics operation fee” for heavy packages weighing over 10kg. The fee will range from a minimum of 3,000 VND to a maximum of 65,000 VND per package, depending on the weight.

According to the platform, this cost will be borne entirely by sellers and deducted directly from their order settlements. It will not appear on customer invoices, meaning buyers will not be directly affected by the charge. However, the fee is non-refundable to the seller even if a customer requests a return or refund after a successful delivery.

The new fee structure is scheduled to take effect at 0:00 on October 12, 2026, for all new orders. Orders placed before this deadline will not be subject to the charge, regardless of when delivery or settlement occurs. This follows a previous adjustment in July 2026, where TikTok Shop modified commission rates by industry, reducing fees for certain essential goods such as food, beverages, and household items.
