Tim Pütz and Kevin Krawietz lose US Open doubles final

German tennis players Tim Pütz and Kevin Krawietz finished as runners-up in the men's doubles at the US Open, losing the final to the duo of Christian Harrison and Neal Skupski. The match ended with scores of 4:6 and 6:7 (6:8).

Following the defeat, Tim Pütz suggested that the successful partnership between the two players may be coming to an end. Pütz noted that he has been struggling to balance his professional career with his desire to spend more time with his family and two young children, stating, “The chance exists that it will not continue.”

Despite the loss, the pair earned $500,000 in prize money. Their most significant shared achievement remains their victory at the 2024 ATP Finals.
