Tiramisù World Cup seeks 130 global judges for 10th anniversary

The Tiramisù World Cup is seeking 130 amateur judges from around the world for its upcoming 10th-anniversary competition in Treviso, Italy. To secure a position on the public jury, applicants must pass an online test consisting of 15 questions regarding competition rules, the history and culture of tiramisu, and the Treviso region. The application process begins with a ‘click day’ on September 12.

The competition is scheduled to take place from October 9 to 11, with qualifying rounds on October 9 and 10 and the Grand Final on October 11. During the selections, judges will evaluate 320 tiramisu recipes across both original and creative categories.

Organizer Francesco Redi noted that the number of jury positions was increased to accommodate the growing number of participants. Redi also observed that over the last decade, culinary trends have shifted toward lighter, less fatty recipes, though maintaining the essential balance of flavors remains a priority.
