Tirana imposes road closures for Kanye West concert on July 11, 2026

An international concert by Kanye West is scheduled for 20:00 on 11 July 2026 at the Eagle Stadium in Kashar, Tirana, with an expected crowd of about 60 000. To ensure safety, the Tirana Police Directorate announced temporary traffic restrictions. From 07:00 to 24:00 the secondary lane of the Durrës‑Tiranë highway between the "Eiffel" area and "Casa Italia" will be closed to inbound traffic, operating only for outbound vehicles. The exit roundabout at Casa Italia will also be blocked. Additional closures apply from 12:00 to midnight on the route Casa Italia – Pavarësia – Sokrat Miho and on Sokrat Miho – Kasem Shima – 7 Nëntori, with the latter allowing only outbound flow. Partial blocks may occur between the Institute Bridge and Casa Italia depending on crowd volume. Only emergency and police vehicles may use the restricted zones. A dedicated bus service runs from Skënderbej Square every 20 minutes (100 lek fare) and several city lines (L. 4, 13, 3, 58) are recommended. Police urged drivers to use alternative routes. The stadium, covering about 65 000 m² on the first kilometre of the highway, was built with a €4 million government grant.
