Tirumala Brahmotsavams begin with ceremonial processions

The nine-day Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams commenced at Tirumala with traditional ceremonies and the Dwajarohanam ritual. During the festivities, Sri Malayappa Swamy was taken on a ceremonial ride on the Pedda Sesha Vahanam, a seven-hooded serpent vehicle symbolizing the seven hills of Lord Venkateswara.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu attended the event alongside his family, including his wife Bhuvaneswari, son and minister Lokesh, and daughter-in-law Brahmani. On behalf of the Andhra Pradesh state government, the Chief Minister presented sacred Pattu Vastrams (silk robes) to Lord Venkateswara. Naidu expressed his prayers for the prosperity and progress of the state and its people, noting his responsibility to ensure a smooth experience for devotees visiting the temple.
