TJMT elects José Luiz Leite Lindote as president

The Court of Justice of Mato Grosso (TJMT) has elected its new leadership for the 2027–2028 biennium. During a plenary session held on Thursday, Judge José Luiz Leite Lindote was elected president of the Court. Gilberto Giraldelli was chosen as vice-president, and Helena Maria Bezerra Ramos was elected to lead the Corregedoria-Geral da Justiça.

The election for the presidency and vice-presidency followed a pre-established agreement among court members, with both Lindote and Giraldelli running as sole candidates. In the race for Corregedoria-Geral, Helena Maria Bezerra Ramos also ran without opposition after the candidacy of Rui Ramos Ribeiro was rejected due to legal impediments under the National Organic Law of the Magistracy.

The new administration will succeed the current leadership headed by José Zuquim Nogueira. The inauguration is scheduled for December 19, with the official term beginning on January 1, 2027.
