TKDK provides 228 million TL for agricultural projects in Manisa and Izmir

The Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) has awarded grants to 15 projects in the Manisa and Izmir regions under the IPARD III Program. These projects, which represent approximately 15.8 percent of the total projects receiving support across Turkey, involve a total investment volume of roughly 228 million TL.

The supported initiatives include the establishment of milk processing facilities, cold storage warehouses, and olive oil production plants. These investments aim to increase production capacity, reduce product loss through better storage, and add value to regional agricultural outputs.

Grant rates for these projects range from 50 to 70 percent, depending on the specific investment area and support conditions. The funding is expected to strengthen agricultural infrastructure, modernize production processes through new technologies, and boost the competitiveness of local businesses and cooperatives, thereby contributing to rural economic development.
