Tlalnepantla government donates land for two new national high schools

The municipal council of Tlalnepantla approved, by unanimous vote, the donation of two city-owned parcels to the federal Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) for the construction of two campuses of the Bachillerato Nacional Margarita Maza. The first parcel, 2,524.99 m², is located in the El Tenayo housing unit in the western part of the municipality, and the second, 1,267.69 m², is on San José Avenue in the San Juan Ixhuatepec area to serve the eastern side.

During the same session, council members approved financial support for local youth: 56,652 pesos for athlete Edson Carlos Saavedra Torres to cover travel and registration for the World Kickboxing and Karate Championship in Berlin, and 33,918 pesos for eight students of the INBAL‑affiliated School of Artistic Initiation to attend a national arts festival in Aguascalientes. The council also amended the operating rules of the Transformando Tlalnepantla program to improve delivery of public assistance.
