Tlaxcala Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros Expands Security and Health Initiatives

Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros inaugurated the Totolac Control and Command Center (C2), bringing Tlaxcala’s network of municipal video‑surveillance centers to 52 and moving toward coverage of all 60 municipalities. The project is part of a more than 10 billion‑peso investment in security technology, professionalisation of police forces and infrastructure such as a police school and tactical complex.

In a separate health effort, the governor oversaw the delivery of 230 hospital‑type beds with mattresses to people with immobility, part of the state’s SEDIF program that has distributed 920 packages since 2023. The initiative is described as unique in the country and aims to improve home‑care conditions for families.

Municipal president Salvador Santos Cedillo of Huamantla convened a coordination meeting with state, municipal and emergency agencies to secure the upcoming automotive event on 8 August. Measures include enhanced road signage, alternate routes, dedicated emergency lanes and final safety inspections, ensuring the Feria Internacional del Arte Efímero and Dalia Huamantla 2026 proceed safely for participants and spectators.
