Túnel do Grilo traffic restrictions in Lisbon due to maintenance

Road traffic in the Túnel do Grilo, part of the IC-17 CRIL in the Lisbon district, will be restricted starting Monday for a period of 60 days. Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) announced that the works involve upgrading the lighting system within the galleries and near the tunnel entrances.

During the maintenance period, traffic will be limited to two lanes per gallery with a speed limit of 50 km/h, reduced from the current four lanes. Between 22:00 and 06:00, lanes will be closed, leaving traffic to flow through either two lanes or, in exceptional cases, a single lane. The works will be properly marked.
